Wishlist

The actual (Wiki) wishlist.

• I'd like images to actually show up instead of links in:
  • User Index
  • User's main/bosses/drones/try files pages
  • Well good news, because me and Kironide are working on it!

• Keep image links, not images in:
  • List of all bosses
  • List of all drones
  • List of all try files
  • Those two requests are not compatible (if the images appear in "User:Bob/Bosses" they will appear in the Boss Repository page too).

• The comments system has sparked an idea. Could we modify it to suit our own needs? How much easier would it be to add bosses and such if you simply had to click "Add boss" and fill in a form like I'm doing now. It'll then add a new row to your table with the correct details in the correct columns? Ideally this wiki needs to be idiot proof. Hows about a button for everything? "Make table", "Add row" etc. I know that would patronize some people, but I'm the sort that likes to cater for all skills and needs
  • Editing the comment extension for boss addition? Sure! I'll take a look sometime soon.
• Protect the entire wiki from edits by non registered users. I've had to block two IP's and delete two pages within a fortnight. Not much, I know, but..... Why would we need to allow unregistered users to edit? Only Fraxy fans would ever need to edit anything here, so surely they would register anyway! I could protect everything, but it's not up to me.
  • I'll see how that would work, and try to get it done asap.

• Integrate IRC directly into the Wiki, perhaps using something like this. Mibbit is a nice alternative, but it's still inefficient to have to go to another site when it could possibly be dependent only on the Wiki.
  • CTR I thought you were already doing something about that, what happened?
    • Although not the place to discuss this but for record purposes... The IRC tutorial deals with Mibbit. I found that there is a plugin for direct infusion into the Wiki, which would probably be superior. However, I can do nothing as I don't have database access. =P
